Lakeside Retreat is perfect for 2-3 families including dogs (see bedroom configuration below). The home is 3,600 sq ft with 5+ bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, a large open great room / kitchen on the main level, and a separate living room downstairs with wet bar. Full sized washer and dryer, high speed (cable) internet, cable TV, and Roku for streaming. 4 bedrooms face the lake with sliding glass doors in each — and southeastern exposure means you’ll see lake sunrises from most of the home. The kitchen includes all the standard kitchenware plus a dishwasher, griddle, slow cooker, waffle maker, two coffee makers, extra cutlery, and an ice maker in the freezer.

The home is family and dog friendly (verified with our toddler and beagle). Gates are installed at the top of the stairs inside and at the top of the deck stairs outside, as with narrowed deck balusters to keep kids and pups safe. 2 pack-n-plays, high chair, bumpo, kids reusable plastic plates, bowls, and cutlery are stocked.

Outside you’ll find a wrap around deck overlooking the lake, 200 ft of waterfront, lakeside fire pit, and a covered dock with two boat slips and a swim platform. Our waterfront is protected from boat traffic by a no wake zone for safe swimming. The home is on the cool (public) side, near the southern end (away from algae blooms). A kayak and a canoe are ready for use, plus life jackets (various sizes) and floats.
